Voters are irrational they don’t compute probability of winning that’s already evidenced by people voting 3rd party.

You’re assuming voters are rational which they aren’t. They don’t use math to vote they use intuitions riddled with biases

That’s fair (that voters will likely overestimate the popularity of their favorite), but there’s still the problem of increased turnout wiping out any gains from getting utopia-sympathizers to lower their scores for your rival by a point or two.
