How can voting reform be made more strategically useful, or its usefulness made obvious for organizations?

Democracy can invigorate and empower organizations that adopt it; it makes members of the organization happier, more tight-knit, and more effective in their collective work, and makes the outcomes and goals pursued by the organization appear more legitimized, and thus easier to accomplish and spread. Voting reform is a natural increase of democracy, so how can voting reform be pitched most effectively to private organizations or groups? There just has to be a way to get pro-impeachment Democrats, or tax-cut supporting voters, or basically any kind of issues-based or political advocacy group, or even a business or other organization to see the usefulness of adopting voting reform for their own usage, but most of the progress seems to occur only in the context of government elections, such as in Fargo or Lane County.

It seems that CES or others could provide a great service by maybe writing an article describing the various ways private organizations can democratize themselves.

I’m a bit cynical about political parties adopting voting reform, but even they may be possible targets.

Also, is anyone aware of how voting rules are used in computing? Five cars that are about to crash could have an instant AI voting procedure to determine how to manage it, for example, or certain situations might mandate more strategy-resistant voting procedures because some AIs are trying to game the system, etc.
